Is there a way to get the fuel to engine quicker?
I had removed engine, rebuilt, changed fuel filter.
There is a lot of hose between filter and carb..
Now all back in and cranks fine, I am afraid to keep cranking- that it will load up with injection oil.
Oil lines were primed..

Is it OK to keep cranking till gas gets to carbs..
Of course not continuously only crank for about 3-5 seconds at a time and take break, as to not overheat starter.

Thoughts?

Thanks in Advance...

I have put a small amount of fuel/oil mix down each cylinder to get the motor to start and pull the fuel through the system

Wound up removing filter, putting in primer bulb, pumping till fuel went to carbs, took off primer - filter back on.
Cranked couple times and she fired.. Holy crap it ran- LOL
Only ran two times for about 3-5 seconds each, fresh engine rebuild.

Thinking about just putting it away like that till spring, if I put water to it and run- will have to winterize.
So may wait till spring to put in lake.
Thanks Again...

If you live where it freezes you will have to winterize if you put water in it. I would just wait if you are not going to run it on the water.

I am not seeing any temps above 50 here in Michigan coming up- so I think its getting put to sleep for winter..
Thanks everyone...
