1.) First Seadoo ever.
2.) Thanks to all for the exhaust rave reworking information.
3.) Fairly simple, quick and WOW!
4.) Red spring adjuster bottomed out which I thought was correct; after further reading one thread said there was an addendum to the manual saying flush with black top, resulting in valves opening quicker. Which one for low end torque? The latter I presume?
5.) Only seems to obtain about 6500 wfo instead of the mentioned 7000; Any suggestions or ideas?
6.) Is there any maintenance to the valve farther downstream in the header?
If so please explain?
7.) Is AV 100 octane LL, ok as petrol?

1,2,3) OK

4) Most people find that bottomed out is best for a heavy boat. On a light ski, flush is better

5) How is the valve adjusted for 6500 rpm top? if that is bottomed out... turn the valve out a little at a time until you get 6800 to 7000 rpm's on the top. Also, if the engine is older... check your compression. if you are lower than 135 psi... you won't see top RPM. (150 is perfect)

6) Nope. if you aren't overheating the pipe, don't worry about it.

7) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AV LL will kill your engine. it will leave led deposits on the rings, and RAVE's. And, since it burns so slow, your top RPM will suffer, and the fuel will still be burning as it's leaving the engine. In turn, you will melt the piston crowns at the exhaust ports.

AV blue was designed for an engine running constant speed, with changing O2 levels (thats why you have a mix control on the dash) and for an engine that is running at less than 4000 rpm.

Thank you, for the reply.
What octane level or is the designed 87 pure gasoline (no 10% eth ?) as good as it gets?
