1996 XP Gauge Qustions

I just purchased a 96 xp. The trim gauge and the speedo are working great. The middle gauge I am not sure of. I get four red light when I plug my key in. And when the xp is running the bottom left gas light is staying on. I have no read out in the center LCD section. I took the xp out for its first ride last night. It ripped around the lake for a minute or two and then started cutting out like it wasn't getting fuel. Eventually, it wouldn't restart and I had to get some help getting back to shore.

Any ideas I would really appreciate the input.

as for you center gage. mine is doing the same thing right now, it is most likely the baffle in fuel tank. the answer to your bogging down, would most likely be trash in you fuel, which has now been caught in your fuel filter or the carbs internal fuel filters.
