1996 XP 787 Crank Case Damage-Pictures

Can anyone tell me if new cases are in store? Do you guys see any damages that would warrant new cases. There are small chips on the sides of some journels.

A piece of metal from the cylinders went into the crank case. I am working on a full rebuild.

The gear on the rotary valve was sheared. The crank shaft doesn't indicate any damage. I may send it in for a full rebuild to SBT. Opinions on the crank shaft?

I assume I can not mis-match the case halves? Buy one here and there on ebay? Do they have to be purchase top and bottom together?

Cases

The cases look good to me. Look on the outside of the lower case for any cracks. I can't tell about the crank from a picture. Better safe than sorry.....I'd get it rebuilt.
