Hello looking for some expert help on my 1996 seedoo spx. Everyrhing im about to mention i done so far on these seedoos is purely off of youtube videos . Im mechaniclly inclined so figured most of this stuff is probably pretty easy with some guidence. I jus bought these seedoos and seems like im having a gas issue so i pulled the carbs to clean them and about to replace the grey gas lines im aware of the gas filter thats mounted under the dash . My question is i also have some filters before the lines go into the carbs im asuming someone added these for extra filteration. Should i remove these filters and use only the filter under dash? Also am i supose to be mixing the gas with oil or do these models use straight gas ? Thanks for any suggestions

Wanted to add .. when im looking to purchase the filters all pakages seem to include fuel / oil filters are these for the oil lines or gas lines im a little confused . What has me confused is they use the words fuel and oil on the filter title

IF it is stock it is oil injected and the 2-stroke oil goes in a separate tank and the engine mixes it for you.

Some people remove the oil injection (typically the wrong way) and pre-mix. We won't know on yours without pictures.

The only fuel filter should be the plastic cup one up under the handlebars. no other inline fuel filters.

You should also have a inline white plastic filter on the oil line.

Ok thanks . Im pretty sure its all stock .. so im asuming all the pakages i see online that come with the o ring and filter also are including the fuel/oil filter that goes on the oil lines correct?

Sorry i wasnt very clear . What i meant was im often seeing fuel/oil filters online. Are they pertaining to the filters that go on the oil lines ? Why fo they use fuel /oil filter to describe the filters
