A mechanic charged and jumped my batteries off of the terminals in the computer box in my speedster. Now all my fuses blow for sump pump and the boat will not plane off with more then 2 people in the boat. Can jumping off the computer damage the computer? And my batteries are always dead when I leave it sit with everything off.

does it fire up, now w/ new fuses in? if so, then you dodged a bullet. If not planing, ur wear ring/s are bad. If batteries dying while sit'n, remove the red and black cables from it, and hook tender to it once a week.

It sounds like the bilge pump was on all the time with a faulty automatic switch and caused the fuse to blow. It could still be drawing power if you replaced the fuse and it runs the battery down.
