What needs to be done, and what probably needs to be done.

The boat has been stored on its trailer and kept in a garage in the south.

It has an estimated 300 hours on it (at most), and I do not have maintenance records on it (but I suspect it hasn't had much).

Do these boats have water pumps or are they using water from the jet intake to cool the engine?

Thanks in advance guys!

If its been sitting, then youll need to go thru the fuel system, clean/rebuild carbs.... also 300 hours is gettin up there.. do a compression check... make sure numbers are 120 or higher and within 10% of eachother

Is there an hour meter on these motors? What is the average life of these motors before needing a rebuild?

I am planning replacing all the water, fuel, oil lines. A basic tune up, and clean out the carbs. I'll check the compression as well (thanks for the numbers on that).

I think that boats got an hour meter, and usualy, 300 is considered high and a top end rebuild is needed.. but if it was maintained well and compression is good, it can go much longer.... keep us posted on compression test
