Hey Fellas;

I believe I have a MPEM problem! I bought this seadoo not running, & it was suggested that it may be the MPEM. Before I go & buy one How Can I test it to make sure?
- I have a good battery.
- Connections are clean.
- There was a blown 5 amp fuse, which I changed, & still no response when hooked back up?
What else should I be looking for?

Thnx in advance for any & all assistance!!!

The Hoss!

I replaced the 5 amp fuse on the MPEM, tried it & nothing! Opened it (MPEM)up again, & the 5 amp fuse was blown again! What does this indicate?
Thnx,. Kent

I just recently went through the blown 5 amp fuse problem. If the 5amp fuse keeps blowing, then the MPEM is bad and needs repaired or replace. Now, what caused it to go? They say jump starting is the number one cause. Why are you having to jump start it, maybe the rectifier is bad, maybe the stator is shorted or there may be a problem with the VTS trim system. I walked into a Hornets nest when I bought mine. It all started from a cracked and leaking VTS Arm Boot. I found a Guy out in California that can fix certain MPEM's if that is what you need.
