I need some advice on my 1996 Seadoo. It loses speed and boggs down after I throttle it to about 3/4th's. I've cleaned the gas filters, checked the intake for debri, changed spark plugs 3x, put a gas cleaning agent in the tank, run the old gas out & replaced with fresh gas, & oil is at the correct level as it has not ever used any oil other than normal usage. What else could be the problem with this bogging down of the system in a Seadoo?
Thanks for any assistance concerning this problem,
dakota

I would first check compression to make sure you have healthy motor. Is it starving for gas when you get to 3/4? Have tried to choke it when this happens to see if it makes a diff? Have you checked all the linkage and make sure it is timed and both crabs openeing all the way to wot?

What did the carb filters look like when changed/cleaned them? do you have grey fuel lines?

The motor seems to be in good condition, it doesn't skip when throttled up on the ramp and it idles just fine. Haven't tried to use choke when it starts bogging down but will try it. All the connections were checked but will try your suggestions tomorrow & see if that may help solve the problem.

Thanks for your response.
