1996 Seadoo GTI Gauge Wiring question

Hello, i have a bit of a problem with one of the wiring connectors, when we removed the old gauges one of the wiring connectors fell down into the hood, does anybody know how to get it back up?

The wires come up each side of the hood and go into the plug. So it is captured at the top and did not fall all the way down. Try a coat hanger with a hook on the end. Or you could use a flexible pick up tool.
