the ski ran smooth for about 35 minutes then slowly started hesitating then it bogged down. now it just boggs down at 4000 rpm and dosent accelerate . now it just bogs down and seem to misfire dosent accelerate. the guy i bought it from let gas sit in it, but whatever was left of old gas has been burned off. i was running cleaner stabilizer through it when some of the fuel problems started. i would appreciate any suggestions

Check the battery voltage, then start ski and rev to 5500rpm or WOT if it wont go that much, then recheck. IF its more than 15vdc, the Rectifier is toast!
Ive never seen a Seadoo that sat for along time that the fuel delivery & carbs did
not need cleaned. Gas goes bad in 3-4 weeks. Bills86e

Flush out the whole fuel system and clean the fuel/water separator. I had the same problem 2 years ago with my '90 GT. We were only at the cottage for a week, so we stuck washers under the choke nob to keep it running. In the fall when we had time, we flushed the whole fuel system out. We disconnected the fuel line going into the carb and stuck the hose into a bottle full of fresh gas. Fired it up and it ran great. We also found that the inline water separator had a crack in it, which would cause it to go over the top lean and bogg down. We went to Canadian tire and bought an inline filter, installed it, and its ran great ever since. If flushing the fuel system doesnt work, your flywheel key might be sheared, causing incorrect timing=backfires. I hope the key isnt sheared because you'd have to pull the motor to work on it.

flush

ill flush system and clean carbs. this should solve problem. Also the mis fire is not constant. thanks for response
