Hello all, I have a 1996 GTX 5640, recently while I was out of town the wife was riding my new spark and let a friend ride her GTX, while riding the ski just quit running. The ski had to be towed in. She assumed the battery was bad and replaced it. When I was able to check out the ski: had full battery power, no lights, beeps, or any signs of power. Checked the fuses, all fuses in the front box were good, fuse in the rear relay box was blown. Replaced this fuse. Fuse in the front box blew. Checked all wiring & connections. All good. Tried replacing blown fuse in front box, rear fuse blew out again. Disconnected all plugs. Worked in reverse order plugging all connections back in while checking fuses, fuse kept blowing. Disconnected connector at the stator. Replaced fuse. None blew out. Plugged stator connector back in. Fuse blew out. My deduction, stator is bad, can anyone confirm this? Any place I can get information on replacing the stator assembly?
