1996 GTX - 3rd "Rave" valve

In my 1996 GTX, I see what appears to be a 3rd Rave Valve cover on top of the big purple cylinder (muffler?) in the back of the sea doo. Unlike the two rave vales on the engine, the cover didn't come off easily. What is this part and its purpose?

Water regulator valve ‘drys’ the pipe at high rpm to create more power.

Is maintained the same as a RAVE valve or is it’s own animal?

It is different. It is a water pressure activated diaphragm. More rpm… More water pressure moves the valve
