Just pulled the boat out today to find out that the oil reservoir has a huge crack in the top of it. I have searched the forum pretty well i think and haven't found a ton of info on how to bypass the injection system and start to pre-mix.

I would buy a new tank if I could find one, but the couple of parts sites I have found, show the tank as obsolete and no longer available.

SO....I need some instructions on what the "experts" would do if it happened to them....

You can make about any oil tank fit. You need to oil the rotary valve if you do to premix. So you need a decent tank to hold oil.

You keep the oil tank to lube the rotary valve. You can loop the hose but that its more of a risk if the oil gets used up and you don't catch it since you are premixing now.

I ran the oil tank with both supply and return/vent hoses all season while premixing. I`ll be switching up to 2 separate tanks with single hose to the supply side of the engines which are under the Carbs, and blocking off the return side under the tuned pipe. Since the Rotary valve shaft bearings just require an "oil bath" to keep them happy. I`m not to fond of the loop.
