1995 seadoo hx

I wanted to make sure. I just bought this jetski. I took it to the river and i hope on it without starting it and the back end was underwater and so was my feet so i got off because i thought i was sinking and im only 130lbs. I checked plugs and the hull no water. Are they meant to sink that low?

Hi,

Well... yes. The HX was a hull designed to race one very specific class. They were never intended to be used as a recreation ski. They take the same balance as riding a "Stand-up" ski because they are very narrow, and displace a small amount of water.

Push it into knee deep water... and hit the throttle... you will be fine.
