I got a 95 gtx and i just recently changed the exhaust manifold due to a stupid bolt. I put everything back correctly so i thought. My question is when i remounted the tuned pipe and connected it to the water box muffler, may i have not positioned it correctly. The hull filled up with water in a bout 15 min of use. I hooked up the all the hoses again properly. Any insight would be greatful

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to ask.

If you have a hose off, or a part not bolted up properly... yes... you will fill up with water.

sorry bout that. im new to this..lol. i replaced the exhasust manifold and i remember putting everything back together properly. the manifold bolts i torqued to the specs. i connected the tune pipe back to the manifold as well torqued them down correctly. the lower portion of the tune pipe which i believe is called the cone connects into the water box muffler. is the cone and water box muffler have to fit tightly together ?
once again i apologize for not knowing alot about these yet.

yeah thats what i thought lol..just making sure. i think the best way is to put it in the water in neutral and see where its leaking at. any ideas on where to check at besides my work that i did lol?

Put it in the water, but leave it on the trailer. Then, run the engine. If you have a water leak in the cooling system... you will find it quick.

Tomorrow im going to put it in the water. I printed out the hose diagram for all the hoses to make sure i didint cross one by accident. i will take that with me. i leave my jetski up my buddys campsite during the summer. so i havent checked things out just yet. im hoping its something simple and nothing major. i will let you know as soon as i find out.. fingers crossed

just got home from camp and realized my problem. When i changed out the exhaust manifold. i must not have scrapped off all the old gasket that holds the manifold onto the housing. After taking it all apart and then finally cleaning the the rest of the old gasket off and then putting it all back together, there was no water in the hull. I was using the ski for about an hr today and man does it feel great to be able to ride again. My buddy has a yamaha 1200 and he locked up his motor today. Took the plugs out of it to see that he has no compression in the 2nd cylinder. The piston came up and bent the electrode end of the spark plug. We are going to tear and see what happened and see what we have to do to fix this.
