1995 GTX engine works on one cylinder

If I were you, which I am not, I would start looking for a good used head.:thumbsup:

I am glad the heat gun worked for you.

I looked at ebay and found couple but they have some marks on one of the cylinders on all of them, not so bad as mine but they have it. Is it a probem if there are some "pepering" marks?

I have head question

In the parts list for 95 GTX the part number for rhe head ends on 913 706 but on my old head it says 913 705

Is that the same head?

with the year of your ski and the condition on the engine i would sugggest pulling the engine out and putting in a SBT engine or a good used engine from 99spxxx or minnetonka4me i just bought a 717 from thema dn it is great and alot cheaper than rebuilding my old one...your crank is 17 years old and prolly not much life left in it so i would go with a new engine...but thats me ..

I got your point but here all two stroke PWC will be baned from the lake efective Jan 1, 2013 and I plan to sell it after the season and I try to keep the cost down but still to hve the ski in good condition.

even it is 17 years old i removed the previous registration sticker which was for 99 so I gues it was not used long time

well....if you plan to just rebuild it you are looking at about 400 bucks IF......... you dont need to resleve the cylinders ..I dont know and cant tell the condition of the cylinders by your pictures so you will need to be the judge of that.... on the other hand you can pick up a good running used engine for around $500
