Before the boat quit on me, I noticed that when warm it would not accelerate freely but needed to be coaxed to accelerate. Once I got it up and reving it when to top speed and ran OK. My son ran it hard for 20 minutes when it bogged down and stalled. Could not get it restarted. Put a new battery in it. The starter seems dead at this tiome. I just took the plugs out which are clean. I took the cover off the back and turned the crank and the engine turns but does not spin effortlessly. Compression is 130 plus on both cylinders. Fuel filter under storage cover is clean. What are your thoughts on the engine not spinning easy with no effort with the plugs out?
