1994 gtx carb question.

So some background. Have worked on recreational vehicles all my life. Dirtbikes ,quads, snowmobiles, work on my own vehicles, nitro powered rc vehicles. These fricking jet skis being in my opinion the simplest of all in how they work mechanically have been the biggest pain in the ass of the bunch. Always loved skidoo snowmobiles. With that said have only worked on Sea Doo skis and I hate them. I have a 1994 GTX. Just rebuilt the carbs with all mikuni parts ,pop off is around 30-32. Needles set to high 3/8 low 1-1/4 from seated. Grey fuel lines replaced.Compression 150lbs both cylinders.ngk Br8es plugs gapped to spec. Idles fine and takes off great now. Plugs are a light tan done with a wide open throttle chop. Top speed is 40 on GPS. Premix gas.My question is from 3/4 to full throttle there doesn't seem to be any difference. No faster, engine doesn't do anything different, no noticeable difference. Doesn't have a rpm gauge.I believe 40 is about top speed for this and the plugs looked good to me. Am I ok and over thinking this?
