1993 Seadoo XP

I just rebuilt the top end on my 1993 Seadoo xp. I started it on the hose for 5 minutes ran fine, took it to the lake and it ran for like 5 minutes made a weird noise and then turned off. I tried to start it again and it turns over just doesn't sound the same trying to turn over almost like a little click and it won't run.

We did everything correctly as we know of, if anyone knows what this could be please reply.

Pull and look at the plugs. With them out does it crank?

If not, your impeller bearings could have seized. Pull the pump and see if it cranks then. If not, issue is in the engine, bad battery, cables or connections.

It cranks it just doesn't sound right at all.

Has been a while but I'm going to pull it apart again and see. what what do you think it could be?

Sea clips we put in were from auto store and they moved freely, do you think them moving could cause this?
