1993 GTS no spark

I have my 1993 GTS 587 and I am not getting any spark I have changed out computer, stator, checked wires trimmed them too, checked all buttons, I feel like I have checked all I can I did check ground it is good and just to be sure I added and extra ground. Tried disconnecting the black and red wire to see if I get spark but no. The only thing I wonder is do I have to have to have fuel in the tank for the seadoo to spark. I know to run I will but is there a sensor that prevents spark if it is dry.

If there is any clarification needed lmk I just read my post and some of it is a little hard to read. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me on this thing thanks it is about to be taken to the junkyard. To not I bought it in this condition the old owner tried using a newer computer from like a 1996 so the wiring was all funky. I got it hooked up correct with the correct part now but still no spark. The only thing left in my mind is the coil and I read that the CDI is inside the coil on this model.

I'm no expert...but I have studied the wiring diagram of my '96 to try to understand my ski's electric pathway.

Have you done anything with the ignition coil? The ignition coil gets its signal from the induction pickup coil through the CDI module, so as the stator rotates the induction pickup alternates the go/no go (which sends the power through the spark plug wires to fire the spark plugs accordingly). The ignition coil should have a ground connection to the ski and a power connection coming from the CDI module (which fires each spark plug accordingly).

Best bet...get a hold of the wiring diagram of your ski and trace the wire paths (and colors)....to the proper sources....if someone has monkeyed around in there...you could be missing something....good luck.

On this model the CDI is combined in the coil and yeah I have got a wiring diagram and I have it all hooked up correct but it still doesn’t want to spark. That is why I’m thinking it maybe the coil
