Well its been running great. Put it in the lake with a fresh charge and after about 30 mins to an hour of riding off and on I took a break and when I got back on It gave a great start then slowly got weaker until now it just clicks when i push the button.

Im guessing starter maybe solenoid?

i would investigate charging circuit first provided using a fully charged battery will start it again. check voltage at battery with ski running at idle which should be around 12.3v. then check voltage at 5500 rpm should read around 13.8-14v. if 15v or greater, regulator bad.

My experience is replace the battery. Had one that was one season old but I didn't keep a trickle charger on it. Had you're problems all the next season and I KNEW it couldn't be the battery. Tried lots of things. replaced battery this year and no problems starting.

nah i got it this year abandonded and its a fresh battery
