Hey all,
I'm new to the seadoo world and any advice would be awesome. I was given a 1992 GTX that is kinda turning into a project. Currently I can't get the engine to fire off the ignition. I just had the starter professionally rebuilt and my battery has plenty of power. When i hit the ignition i get nothing at all. As soon as I cross the solenoid the engine starts to fire. How do I know weither this is in the ignition or the solenoid and how do i go about testing each. Also how in the world do you take the carbs off of this engine those 2 nuts on each carb are almost impossible to get to.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Lastly this ski has not run since 2005 i put all new fuel line in it, am going to clean carbs before I start it, i drained and cleaned the fuel tank, put the rebuilt stater in, and put a little oil in each cyclinder and turned it over by hand and everything moves freely. Is there anything else i should do before i try to start my new toy?
Thanks again
