1989 seadoo only getting 8.2 volts at the fuse

i put new solenoid in and same thing. rectifier? battery is 12.8 volts to solenoid . i test where the fuse is and i only get 8.2
 
Sorry I don't know much about that model but is it possible to isolate some of the wiring and test resistance? I just wonder because of the age of the 'doo there might be internal corrosion inside the cabling or connectors.
 
Yes, spun b is correct. Check all your connections starting at the battery, and grounds, one at the battery, and the ones inside the rear electrical box. Check the positive and ground at the starter. Pull the fuses in that electrical box and look for corrosion. Have you done a load test on that battery?.
