1800 left engine overheating,

Hey guys ,


My father has a 1800 Challenger, and the left side is overheating, and the boat is shutting it down, I don't know what else to check but the hoses, and the boat is "peeing" out the boat, what else could it possibly be? Thanks for the help

faulty temp sensor. It wouldnt shut motor/mpem/system down, though. It would just sound out the alarm.

Overheating

I had moss in the intake gate, boat was still "peeing", but the flow was limited. I just had to get under the boat and clean it out.
