09 rxpx vts not working

I just bought the rxpx last night. it has 27 hours on it and i realized that the vts on the dash wasent working, its either the top light is lit or the bottom light. Nothing in the middle.. brought it to the dealership they hooked it to the buds program ran a test and the nozzle moved all the way up and all the way down with the computer test but he couldnt get it to work with the vts button. anybody have any ideas?? its stuck all the way at the bottom killing top speed!!! (it is the pump not just the dash) thanks.....Mike

As you know the nozzle is working, you have to assume the relay is working as I would doubt the test equipment has the amperage to operate the VTS motor without using the in place relay.

I wold investigate the switch area a bit.
Also, if you google "20 dollar VTS fix" you will find info that may help you. It has to do with the motor and nozzle working but not as designed via the switch.

i tried looking for 20 fix cant find it.. can u post the link.. also if i take the battery off to reset the computer will that effect anything else?? just trying to think if its like a car?

thanks.. whats weird is they could control it with full motion through the buds program and the vts button is working on the indicator on the dash as far as up or down but has nothing in that center section. are the top and bottom spots for presets?? it says preset 1 on the screen where the compass used to be after the dealer tried to reset it.. how do i get rid of that??

Download a free owners manual via www.SeadDoo.com and it will tell you about the presets and how to enter or remove them.
