Howdy, I have an 08 RXP I rode it Sunday- put it away. Go to ride it on Tuesday and I insert the key and the gauges turn on for a couple seconds, and it goes blank. It no longer makes the beeping noises it usually does when I put a key in it. Any ideas? Can I swap batteries from my wake to see if the batt is dead?

Should be able to swap batteries...this definitely sounds like a low battery issue.

Do you have trickle charger?

May I suggest a trickle charger for your PWC... When your done for the day plug it in and forget it till it's time to play again...

i usually keep them covered on dry docks at my marina...is it common for batteries to die between riding? that seems stupid...

There are many things that can drain or kill a battery. Pull the battery and have it tested, maybe it just is low on acid or Water. If it needs to be replaced don't go the cheap rout or you will be right back here soon. Also a battery tender is made waterproof so you will have no problems with them and water..
