08 Rxp charging issue

Hello all,

I have a 08 rxp and i just installed the battery for the first time this year. Upon start up got the long beep and low voltage message. Found the 30 Amp fuse for charging blown, and the holder melted! Cleaned it all up new fuse and the started it up. I have no long beep or charging message anymore, but my volt meter at the battery say 12.6 volts and doesn't change with throttle? I guess the question here is. Is it charging or not? Thought it should go to 14volts roughly.

Im voting for not charging, you need to find what caused your fuse holder to melt. Download a service manual and trouble shoot the charging system.
