Hello -

I have an 08 GTX 155 and live in GA. Went to the lake yesterday and the battery was dead. Replaced the battery and everything ran great. Noticed that when the ski is off and no key attached, the instrument cluster comes on every 10 seconds with the Welcome Aboard message and all of the gauges light up for about 3 seconds. This does not stop...concerned i am draining the battery.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the suggestion! Tried disconnecting the DESS and i still have the same result. Short maybe? Any other ideas?

Thanks again!

That is correct...had no power to the instrument gauge, but I can still hear what sounds like the fuel pump (maybe??) coming on at the same 10 second interval

Did this start all of a sudden? Did you jump start it when you had a bad battery?

Sounds like an ECU issue.

Ummm yes and no!!

Ran the ski about two weeks ago no problems at all. Try to start it up Saturday and would not turn over. Pulled the battery and replaced with new one. Ran fine all day. Noticed when we came off of the water than the gauges were coming on...first time i have noticed the problem. I suspect that it started two weeks ago, which caused the dead battery, but did not notice it then.

Have never jump started a ski.

Thanks!

I'm experiencing identical symptoms on a 2006 RXT. Would love to get some expert opinions for troubleshooting. Also recently replaced the battery. Could this be involved? tsmith353 you are not alone.
