Hi,

Ski has done approx 135hrs.

I'll start from the start to make it a bit easier.
We had the ski out a couple weekends ago, my olds had it the week b4 and dad noticed that the 12V battery warning came up, but it started ok. so the night when they came home, i checked the levels in the battery and the voltage levels were almost perfect, but it only had 11.32v. A lil low.

so the night before me and my mrs went away i disconnected the battery both - and + and charged it up with our trickle charger. took bout an hour.

thinking that was really quick a checked the battery charge after connecting the terminals and it had 13.05v and bout an hour or so after same again it got 13.02v.

thinking that we had fixed the problem took it away and no probs all day no warning or anything on the last time out it flashed the 12v battery warning up, but it still started perfect. anyway after we got 2 the scarab boat some guy had so we could have a look at (2min idle from shore) after the chat 5mins later put the key on and no beep or no light up of the display screen, so i fiddled around with the key and the socket both were dry with no sand or anything inbetween still nothing.

got home after pushing it in battery had 12.68v, so i charged it, got 13.00v.

still nothing, checked all fuses with a test light and visual (removing) inspection, and using the leaner key still nothing.

have told this to the seadoo dealer we got it from and who have always serviced it, booked it in and they said that they might no b able to fix it....

So, has anyone seen or heard of this problem before, any ideas.

your help is greatly appreciated

Ryan

Did you ever try to jump start it with a running car?

any reputable dealer should be able to fix it. it sounds like your DESS post went out which would be unrelated to the battery low issue.

If you get no beeps of any kind with any lanyard and your battery and all connections are good. it's either the post or the MPEM.

Does your dealer have BUDS software? If not, you need a better dealer.
