I appreciate the response. Like I said, I have a perfectly running ski that shows no faults. When I remove the ECU from that ski and replace it with the ECU in question I get the same fault code on the ski as I do on the ski that the ECU in question came out of in the first place. Both skis are the same year and same model. Also, the ski that the questionable ECU came out of shows no faults when I put in a spare 215HP ECU. In fact, the ski starts and runs on the 215 ECU with no faults. It’s not the DESS post. I have researched this a lot already. If the DESS post was shorted ( especially the data line) the ski wouldn’t start regardless of the ECU condition.
