06 RXP - Key Issue

I use the yellow key for the RXP and after hitting the engine stop button and removing the key the beeping continues. Anyone had this issue in the past??

Does it stop if you pull the lanyard off (not hit the sop button)?

I pull the lanyard off and it continues to beep. I can hit the start button and the engine will turn over. It won't start but it will crank.. Weird

Ok,, so the DESS acts like there is still a Lanyard on it, but not the right one..

It is nothing more than a magnetic reed switch. That said, the MPEM reads the Lanyard via the DESS.

Tap on the DESS while it is running with a screwdriver handle and keep tapping on it while you pull the lanyard off. I'm curious to see if the Reed is week or stuck.
