04 Speedster 200 stalls after high speed

Both engines start fine and idle fine. After warm up and good high speed run both engines stall when I cut back the throtles to idle. Hard to restrart. If I pull off the lanyard and put it back on both engines start up fine and idle great like nothing ever happened. Because of the constant stalling I removed the locking pins in the shifter so I can leave the throttles a little forward and shift into nutral and reverse to park without stalling the engines. Anyone have any thoughts. The gas is good, I did the seaform and all that and it still happens after running the tank dry and putting in new gas. It started on just the left engine a few weeks ago and now it does it on both engines most of the time but on occassions they won't stall.
