04 Sea Doo GTI LE not charging

So I noticed I'm having to charge my battery quite often. I know the ski maintains the battery not charge it but my former skiis didn't seem to have this problem. Battery is less than 1 yr. old and putting a voltmeter on battery with ski running only nets about 12.8v which in my opinion is not enough. Replaced the rectifier and voltage doesn't change. Stator maybe? Don't want to put anymore money into it, would just like to ride it. Can I just charge the battery before each use and at least get some riding time this season?

You have to rev it up to about 4,000 rpm and check voltage.

My ski doesn't have a tach, wouldn't reving it up a couple of times show some increase. If not the only way I know is put the ski in the water with a voltmeter attached to the battery and tape the meter down and leave the seat off and take off WOT.

Just rev it up, you don’t need a tach, just high rpm.
