Hi guys, I'm a bit new at this, but my ski makes a loud noise when pressing the throttle. It's not a grinding noise, sounds more like a bearing perhaps. The impeller bearing perhaps? I looked at the impeller while it was running, and it seems to be spinning normally but who knows for sure. It kind of sounds like something is trying to spin or move but getting stuck. There's no smoke coming out and it's really hard to tell if the sound is coming from the engine or the jet pump. Keep in mind I'm starting it on land with the hose hooked up, but it definitely doesn't sound good. The last time I rode it, about three weeks ago, it was perfect all the back to the trailer. Now when I start it up to try and sell it I have this problem. Anyone else out there heard of this? I live in Arizona and apparently it's hard to find anyone out here to work on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advanced.

Hi, i have 2004 3d i'm thinking that is a bearing. Open back access door panel under the seat or where u stand on ski , is like 12 screw . When u open start ski and look where is coming bead sound from. If coming from bearing u can try put some grease using grease gun,

Check your engine mountings. If broke they will throw the shaft out of line.
Or you might have a bearing collapsed in the pump.
