I opened up my GTX DI after a week or 2 of sitting after heavy rains and found it was flooded. Some how water was getting in.

Anyways I went to start it after draining the machine out and found the battery was dead.. i guess there was a short somewhere that caused the battery to drain?

Popped the cover open of the first electrical box and found it was full of water as well. Drained it out, and put a different battery in the machine and tried to start it. This is what happens now. It keeps behaving differently, sometimes the screen comes on, sometimes it doesnt.

New rectifier?

This is exactly why the drain plugs should be out whenever the ski isn’t in the water.

You are going to have to check and clean every connection and electrical box. I would also pull the spark plugs and make sure your engine isn’t full of water too.

Will do. The water level was covering about 3/8s of the engine.

Turns out the entire issue was caused by the water corroding the 30A fuse in the rear electrical box. Sprayed some battery cleaner on the contacts and put a new fuse and started just fine.
