Yes i read jpx's article on this issue..I bought this sea doo and it ran great, then the next time i took it to the lake it ran good for about 15 mins. then from then on it acted up from half throttle to full. It surges and doesn't pick up any speed at wide open throttle. I cleaned the carb. out, then took it back to the lake ran good almost all day then started again. Then i read jpx's article in this forum ( http://seadooforum.com/showthread.php?t=5563 ) I have now replaced all but the return fuel line and cleaned out all the crud (there was a good amount especially in the selector valve) I did not bother to clean out the carb again, is that the problem? So today on the lake it acted up right of the bat, so i turned it to res. it ran good for about 1 min then began surging and bogging down again. My guess here is that there is just a ton of crap in the fuel tank and or that the fuel pump is going out or i just have to re-clean the carb..? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks jeff

Hi,
Yes sounds like alot of crap in your fuel system so I would definately go thru that and give it another good once over. Also how do your plugs look, how long has it been since you changed them? New set of plugs may help you out also. Hope you get it figured out.

finally some love on this post. But my plugs are brand new. . Was the first thing i did once it started acting up. Pulled my sediment bowl, was looking pretty nasty. So i'm going to clean out the fuel tank and carb. Is this a fuel pump in the tank or just a pick up? :bigear:
