01 951 carb NO SPARK

Ski ran fine until a bent rod forced and engine rebuild, ended up finding a crank in my area with good bearings and swapped out everything. After reinstalling the motor i found no spark.

ALL WIRING IN E-BOX
TESTED POSITIVE
MPEM
TESTED POSITIVE
PICK UP STATIC TEST (NEW DURING REBUILD STILL CHECKED)
POSITIVE
PICKUP DYNAMIC TEST
FAIL

From what i can't tell the mag cup with the bulges for spark are not in proper alignment of the pick up. Is there two different lengths of crank shaft between years or am I not getting the fly wheel to seat far enough for the connection to complete.

are You sure You hav eth ePickup in right place, it should "fall in "to the cover, there are like 2 rings/cylinders that centers/positions the pickup-coil.
aftermarket coil or OEM...

From wat I can tell the pickup can only go on one way. The magnet side is facing down, unless the bracket from factory is bent. It is an aftermarket pickup

Hi.
Yes it can o go only one way
, I dont know the after.arket but the oem have like 2 "rings" depressed out in this metal-sheet bracket, around the screwholes.. That should fall into mag.cover... approx 2mm. It is Very thight.
So can it be that this aftermarket "hangs" on the small ring/ edges.. and then is 2mm offseted....
