Okay guys, I need what I hope is just confirmation.

I have a 2000 XP. I decided to clean the internal fuel filters (1 50% clogged and the other about 90%) and while I was at it, decided to replace the gray fuel lines as well.

I thought I was doing a good job of making sure I only removed 1 line at a time to insure that i didn't get any of the lines crossed. Well..... I get to putting the carbs back on and realize there are 3 lines that connect to the carb. 1 8mm and 2 6.5mm. I'm pretty confident I have the 8mm correct, only 1 logical place for that to go, under the bottom of the carbs (installed) so... I have the 2 6.5mm lines. 1 goes up to the inline fillter under the hood. the other goes to what looks like the back of the moter. Kinda hard to explain so let me know if i'm not close. I hook up the one to the back of the moter to the bottom connection and the one to the in-line filter to the top one (all looking down with the carb installed) the one going to the inline looks like it just jumps over to the other carb as well.

Anyway, I get everything back togehter and try to start the ski, the inline filter fills with fuel as expected, the the ski will not turn over.

My inital thought is that the battery is dead, thats what I'm hoping. I'm gonna put the battery on a trickle charger tonight and try again tomorrow.

Someone just please tell me I have the lines correct to the carb and that is probally just the battery........

The engine turning over has nothing to do with placement of the fuel lines. Be sure the batter has a full charge and the battery wires and the ground get a good connection.

What I meant to say was that the ski wouldn't start. I would turn over, just acted like it wasn't getting any fuel.

I charged the battery last night and after a few attempts it started up and ran like a champ. Plan to take it out today for a test run.

I was just wanting confirmation about the fuel lines being connected correctly more than anything.

Thanks
