As soon as I get my boat out again I can take a picture of it, but here is a photo I found that shows the storage"holes", if you look closely you can see the white plastic hinges and the stud for the snap:
Just changed mine not long ago. You have to take the bolt off the bottom(#39), see picture, I found that I took off #46 it was a lot easier, as you have to get both cables in place just right.
When I had my challenger I would also just simply slide the boot forward(tighter against the carbon ring) then use a zip-tie to fill in that gap against the hull. Will allow you to keep running without having to replace the boot.
Would anybody happen to have a working fuel gauge? I have tested mine six ways to sunday and I have pretty much come to the conclusion it is faulty. Added 12V, adjusted ohms between the pins that comes from the sender in the tank, and yet I get no response on the gauge dial.
