Looks like that's what it's gonna be I tried the scissor jack trick didn't strip but wouldn't turn with a wrench on it. Don't understand why the left this so long seized and stripped... O well not anymore

Where are you located? I do need a driver side rear elbow rest do you have one of them?

You guys are awesome Excellent posts I have 2002 v6 240 just picked two weeks ago will be replacing them with all filters and new plugs refurbished. I'm a little weary on the injectors but with the help here think we can get er done. Time for some v6 tlc

Ya I hear ya I got one out and the other is seized think it was Tim 75 mentioned that he used a scissor jack under the screwdriver and got it with vise grips I'm trying that tomorrow Very useful post Thank you If I get them out going with allen keys back in

Ya good idea i'll try the jack, I had a good flat blade and channel locks one stuck maybe a little heat to. That's awesome you ever visited witch part of the island I have an aunt in Sarasota You must have changed the oil pump gear already? I have the cover just off to tidy it up and work on.
