Only apply moly where the service manual states. Any extra is just asking for a weak point or failure. IMO. Also like mikidymac stated use Threebond 1184 or 1211 for the case.

3. i don't see you messing the rotary valve as it is a plate that rides on a plate. (it is possible) but to happen all of a sudden i would say you would have to ingest something into the motor. (water,Debris etc)

Everything on that list is correct and 120 a hour labor really isnt that high....Boat mechanics are disappearing in my area and im surrounded by water..You can shop around for a cheaper rate or just take that list and learn your boat a little
Also 13.5 hours is what their systems says how long...
