Jet sizes for hard jetting waterbox

Matt, would different locations for the jets have an impact. Seems some put both jets in the T fitting while some put a jet in the fitting on the waterbox and one in the fitting on the pipe? Would that make any difference?

Jet sizes for hard jetting waterbox

Yep, stock carbs just jetted for flame arrestors. The seadoo racing manual says start with 200 in the waterbox and 150 in the fitting on the pipe. Also, stock pipe, but milled head. Matt, what do you mean 150 in the pipe unless using a fitting? Overall I am confused because when we did...

Jet sizes for hard jetting waterbox

What size jets has everyone found to be ideal for a 787 X4 with high compression (pump gas) and jetted carbs with F/As?

    95 XP800 Electrical Gremlin Mystery?

I just wanted to update this post for anyone that comes across it with the same issue. I tested all the electronics as outlined in the manual and everything passed from what I could tell. So from there I just decided to de-pin every single connector in the wiring harness. I cleaned every...

    95 XP800 Electrical Gremlin Mystery?

Thanks for the reply. I have thought about the DESS post as well and well check that out. What about the battery light? Could be 2 separate issues but something tells me the 2 are linked.

    95 XP800 Electrical Gremlin Mystery?

Hey all, have a bit of electrical issue I am trying to figure out where to start with. Symptom started out as just the battery light on the info gauge would come, but not constant, it was erratic. May be on one day but not the other or may be on during just certain throttle inputs (full...

Look what came out of my carb filters.....

Fast forward 2 years and I think I found what this crap is. I installed a Dan Squires repaired sending unit yesterday. The one in the ski was the original from 95 as I never replaced it when I did the resto. I pulled the old one apart once got it out and I found this. Looks like the floats...

    Looking for UMI for X4

My guesses.... 1. There usually isn't enough demand at one time to get enough pre-orders, so then..... 2. Nobody wants to cough up the cash up front to do a full run and then have to sit on them...but 3. A group should get together and split that cost, but nobody wants to do that either. 4...

    Looking for UMI for X4

I also had a machine shop reverse engineer everything and was ready to start production for under $500 and nobody was interested. Apparently, people would rather pay the same price for a beat up used one. It's one of the great mysteries and will be part of X4 lore for centuries to come.

Winter build? What to do...x4 951 or stand up ski with a 720 or 787 put in it?

Obviously way more, but there a lot more advantages of the ACE. Powerband, reliability, torque, ease to tune, power, etc etc. The motor itself wouldn't be that expensive and if you can fab up your own turbo you are in business. A turbo ACE could make 160hp without breaking a sweat. And cool...
