Status report: Plugs are good on both. Compression test says 115 (Mag), 85 (Output side). Good spark on both, no corrosion in the MPEM. Fuel filter is good, new lines are good, carb was adjusted per factory. This a typical case of the usual needing a new top end?

I’ve heard good reviews of them too. Unfortunately that’s as much as I bought the ski for originally. I’ll probably just sell it as is, if that’s the consensus.

Looks like the throttle cable is coming in from the back of the ski. I checked for the hoses you talked about leading to an electric solenoid, and they were indeed there - I’m going to take a guess that they are original carbs just with an updated air box.
