After installing the nylon line I took the ski out and it runs perfect again. Waarreagle you were right. The tubing I had I guess was not oem, but I did get it from a reputable supplier.
The line I ended up putting on was 4mm id nylon pneumatic line. It was a mission to heat it up to the point...
I believe I ordered the replacement line off of seadoowarehouse so I would assume it is legit. But I bought nylon line as a replace that has a temp rating of 120c and a working pressure of 300. I am going to put that on tomorrow and if that lines blows there is a serious problem.
I can...
I have a 2001 RXDI that the line going from the air compressor to the rave valve solenoid keeps bursting right where it comes out of the air compressor. The motor heats up and then the line bursts. When it first happened I was riding in shallow water and I sucked up sand, shortly after my air...
I have 2001 rxdi and the air compressor line going from the air compressor to the rave valves kept melting and blowing. I have replaced the line with oem tube and it melts and blows the line as soon as the motor heats up. Prior to the line orgionally blowing I sucked up sand. I think I got sand...
You make a good point and I thought of that but i do believe it is the right line. I actually measured the replacement line I got and the orgional with my micrometer and they were identical. The compressor is overheating for some reason. I am now thinking that maybe there is a partial...
I have an 2001 RXDI that while I was out running it, the rave valves stopped functioning. When I got the ski out of the water I saw that the line going from the air compressor to the rave valve solenoid had burst. I originally thought the line had burst because I thought i kinked it and caused a...
It's not broken. It just popped out. I put it right back in. The manual says you need to buy a special tool to reinsert them properly. Everyone I have read who replaced them just slid them back in and they work fine.
Does dale clean these?
So this happened while pulling out the fuel rail. I guess I might as well send the injectors out because one already popped out. Where do I send them to get cleaned? The manual says to replace the carbon seals anytime the injector is removed. Do I have to buy the tool the manual talks about to...
Will the oil lines just pop off if I pull on them. Or do I need to undo the factory clamp. Because even with the fuel rail off it is still going to he really tight for me. What is the easiest way to undo the clamp in that tight of a space.
I ended up just pulling the throttle bodies to get to the nut. I then I got the head pipe off. Oddly enough the bolt that was snapped off in the exhuast manifold came out with channels locks it wasn't froze. Someone has had this whole exhaust off at some point I just dont known why. The back...
I wont get a chance to work really work on my rx again till this weekend. I am going to make a wrench and see if that works. I am thinking the nut is going to have to come all the way off because of the broken bolt I have.
I have already taken the airbox off. But I am not able to slide it...
Dan squires I will see what taking off the throttle bodies entails. I dont want to buy a new exhaust manifold if I dont have to.
Harbor freight sells a set of cheap s wrenches. I am going to try to get them. And see if they work. PB blaster is good stuff. I will let it soak in there. If this...
Can you post a picture of an example of how you bent the wrench to fit the nut. I do have an oxygen/ acetylene torch. So it wont be a problem to do.
I found another problem. The third bolt for the exhaust head pipe was snapped off. So someone has worked on it prior to me. I think once i get...
