Temp and oil light stuck on

In my case the jumper wire from the multigauge to the vts was cross connected to the wrong plug wich had similiar color/tracer on it. This was grounding out the sensor and casuing the warning lights. However this may have been a unique case since my ski has the multi gauge next to the key post...

Temp and oil light stuck on

I have not yet opened up the Ebox and looked inside to make sure its not grounded in there however I doubt that would even be possible since I haven't messed with the box since this problem manifested itself. My beeper doesn't work however I do have a known working one I can swap in. Swapping in...

Temp and oil light stuck on

I have tested this gauge on 2 other skis and it is in known working condition. As for the temp wire I have traced it and it has no frays or nicks in it. Yet its still acting as if its grounded. Unplug it and the light stays on... I have yet to short the oil wires together but im pretty confident...

Temp and oil light stuck on

Greetings all. Since warm weather is around the corner im starting to pull my skis out of hibernation. I popped a battery in my 95XP last night and had a temp light and oil light on. After unplugging the temp sensor wire the light was still on. Traced the wire and checked for nicks or frays...

Can’t get my ski to start

I'de pull the fuel lines and verify you have fuel at the carbs. If so than I'de pull the carbs and take a look at the internal fuel screens and check if they are clogged up. If so replace them or throughly clean them with a toothpick and brake cleaner (being careful to not puncture them). Ive...

Can’t get my ski to start

Have you tried feathering the throttle while starting it? If you have the idle set correctly and can not start it with the choke or by feathering the throttle than you still have an underlying issue.

Can’t get my ski to start

You likely need to adjust the idle screw. This holds open the throttle linkage and allows you to set the idle wherever you want. Plugs likely have assembly lube or oil from the rebuild on them. Running the ski should clear this up.

    Failed Multi Gauges

I havent tried jumping the temp sensor wires but I have jumped the oil sensor wires before in an attempt to diagnose it. Jumping the wires did not shut off the light. Hence the creation of this post. I believe the failure is internal on the pcb of the multigauge. Pretty frustrating...if I could...

    Failed Multi Gauges

That was my understanding and experience previous to this occurance. I'm running AGM batteries that are less than a year old so I highly doubt its in any relation to voltage. I've checked my wiring and connections. Made sure of no corrosion.Even added a dab of dielectric grease to connectors...

    Failed Multi Gauges

Greetings and salutations to all, with the warm weather around the corner I've begun to start preparing my machines for the season. Everyhting has gone smooth for the most part. However I've ran into 2 similiar failures. I've had 2 multi gauges fail. One on my Piped 95XP and one on my 717 swap...

Can’t get my ski to start

Was this after the lines had been primed that it started? How do the plugs look? Are they wet, oily, dry? What did you gap your plugs at?

Can’t get my ski to start

Theres a solid chance the lines just need to be primed. Disconnect the feed or return hose at the carburator and blow into it. Quickly move your finger over the end of the hose and hold it for a few seconds. Then quickly reconnect the hose onto the barb. Be careful because the lines will now be...
