Hello-

I just bought a 2000 seadoo challenger 14.5 feet with twin 85 hp rotax engines. paid 3800$ runs like a champ, but one of the engines idles high. the port engine ildes at around 1500-2000 rpm out of the water and the starboard idles at around 3500 out of the water. **what is the correct way to lower the idle rpm on the starboard engine.** or should I put the boat in the water to check the rpm? also, where can I find a shop manuel for this boat. i can only find challenger 18, 20 foot shop manuels for this year and speedster. am I missing something?

Thanks_

The starboard engine is ideling correct out of the water they idle around 3000,3500 the idle is to low on the other engine

I'm not sure but on your motor it should be a screw on the carb were the cable connects the screw stops the throttle from returning all the way loosen the lock nut and thighten the screw u have to adjust it with everything hooked up and engine warmed up run it on the hose and set the idle around 3000 if out of water and 1500 in the water
