Nope, that is not correct. It looks like somebody removed the ON hose. I always replace the selector when going through the fuel system for the first time.

So where does the on lead too?

Also i need to fix the fuel gauge..... seems like a hard fix to fix the fuel baffle...

Honestly fixing the fuel baffle isnt that hard, although sometimes the baffle is fine and its just the float that's gone bad. I ended up replacing my float & removing the baffle fuse anyways just to prevent the issue down the road. The magnets from my float were at the bottom of the tank and the bottom of the fuel baffle was just floating around the tank LOL! I used plastic weld to re-seal the piece I removed from the baffle back in instead of plastic welding it with heat. Took me about an hour from start to finish.

I've got some hose diagrams somewhere, Ill check around. Might even be in my resto thread but ill check around.

Baffle "ON" - Bottom Port on fuel Switch/ON
Baffle "RES" - Top Port on fuel Switch/Reserve
Baffle "Ven" - Run hose to the "3" way splitter that has two hoses to venting positions
Baffle "RET" - Return line connects to the Y on the PTO carb

If you unbolt the shock from the rear of the XP you can flip the sea vertical to access the feel baffle. If you unbolted from the front you'll end up stressing the rubber pieces that protect from water getting into the rear of the ski... I am assuming a 97-03 XP

So from my fuel selector the bottom prong (out) has a 2 foot long line connected to nothing.... wheres it suppose to be ?

Home Depot has metric stuff in the screw / bolt drawers. If not stainless, put grease on the screw so it does not rust in place. If you get some wrong size stuff, throw it in tool box. You may use it some where on the ski.

First I hope you are replacing all those gray fuel lines because they will kill your engine.

Look at the selector, it has labels on it even in your picture.
The one that says RES goes to the RES port on the fuel tank sending unit ans is your reserve pickup.
It is hard to see because your thumb is covering it but it looks like the one with the red arrow is the OUT line of the selector and goes to the fuel strainer inlet.
The fuel strainer outlet goes to the carb inlet.
THe 3rd fitting on the selector is the ON port and connects to the ON fitting on the fuel tank sending unit.

Okay in going to try to finish the lines tonight ill get back to you if i run into anymore problems. Thank you all for the help!!

Quick question. Is this the fuel strainer? And which side is the inlet?

The arrow pointing in comes from the selector out.
The arrow pointing out goes to the carbs.
