Bought another 96 XP, replaced the CDI and now have spark.
Has clear fuel lines I my guess is they have been rebuilt at some point.
Tried to start but a no go looks like fuel is moving but I noticed a pocket of liquid in the hose from the case to the carb pump.
it that normal?
motor had 160 psi on both cylinders.

No, and with that high compression sounds like your cases are flooded with fuel, water or oil. Crank it over with the plugs out and thumb over the sparkplug holes and see what squirts out. Have a rag ready and eye protection.

Liquid in the pulse line will not allow the fuel pump to work and you need to pull the carbs to check the fuel pump for liquid and damage.

Honestly I would never run any new to me ski until rebuilding the carbs correctly no mater what.
