Hey guys

I have a Stock 96XP that i recently brought back to life. Rebuilt carbs, went through the whole fuel system, rebuilt raves, got a new non-leaking water valve for the waterbox, rebuilt jet pump with new bearings and wear ring, etc. Compression is about 145psi on both cylinders.

I have a new X0 Prop that I put in. What kind of RPM should I be seeing on the water? Right now it's pulling about 6800. Feels like it runs pretty strong.

I am contemplating opening the high speed mixture screws 1/8 turn to see if I can get a little more out of it, what are guys with the X0 seeing?

6800 is great. 6700-6900 is what you see on a strong healthy stock 787. The Solas XO might take some rpm away especially with a tight wear ring but it should add a mph or so.
